Top Employee 2004

At the end of our fiscal year July 2004, Rpg Enterprises ordered approximately $3.8 million in job products (doors, frames, hardware) and this figure does not include all the special items. One of the persons charged with the responsibility of getting all that product ordered and shipped is Scott Genovese, purchasing manager, and Rpg’s 2004 Employee of the Year.

"Scott is exceptional in the area of customer service," said John Shaputis, corporate vice president, in his employee of the year nomination for Genovese. "There has never been a time that Scott has not exhausted all resources in finding a solution or answering a customer issue."

Genovese is also team oriented.

"He has voluntarily taken action to become familiar with all areas of the company," Shaputis added. “Consequently, whenever there is a need for help in other areas, Scott assists in those areas without being asked. He's usually the first here in the morning and the last to leave at night".

"When ever I stopped by on the weekends, it seems like Scott was always there" says Rpg's president, Kevin Steckler.  "He was very deserving of the bonus and raise, you just don't find people like him any more" Kevin added.

"I was very happy and surprised," Genovese said of his nomination and selection. "It shows that people appreciate the work I do and that I didn't go unnoticed.
